Vojtěch Benedikt
Civil engineer, sustainable mobility expert
Vojtěch is a brunch specialist. His specialty is waffles. He brought his waffle maker from his two year long stay in Sweden, where apart from waffle recepies also know how to bake public spaces inclusive of sustainable mobility and blue-green infrastructure. After returning to the Czech Republic, he has applied much of his experience and knowledge from abroad at the Institute of Planning and Development of the capital city of Prague. In a tandem with Šimon, he has created a progressive concept plan for the Smetana embankment and has overseen the project all the way to construction of phase one. On a strategic level, he has implemented knowledge gained abroad (Sweden and the United Kingdom) within the Strategy and Standards for Active Mobility for Prague. He has taken part in creation of new urban districts in Letňany where a new transit oriented development with biking infrastructure at its core is set to be built in the coming years. He hasn't brought only know-how from sustainable transportation, but also the approach to client liaisons - for example a good cake will allways support a good meeting. Or waffles, crunchy but yet soft.
